Vishal Kaul Promoted to Senior Director & Head of Marketing for Pro Kabaddi League at JioStar

JioStar has elevated Vishal Kaul to the role of Senior Director and Head of Marketing for the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL), according to a recent company announcement.

Kaul assumes his new responsibilities after serving as Associate Director, Head of Marketing for PKL under Mashal Sports for more than two years. Backed by a strong background in sports and media marketing, Kaul brings over a decade of experience across brand strategy, media planning, and integrated campaigns.

Before joining Mashal Sports, Kaul worked with Disney Star for nearly eight years in various marketing roles, including at Star Sports. His earlier work also includes stints at major agencies and media companies like Ogilvy & Mather, Times Network, and Percept/H.

In his expanded role at JioStar, Kaul will now lead the marketing strategy for PKL Season 12 and beyond, overseeing brand positioning, campaign execution, and partnership development. This promotion reflects JioStar’s commitment to strengthening the marketing muscle of one of India’s fastest-growing sports leagues, especially as it continues to bring in new sponsors and scale its broadcast and digital reach.
